Unhelpful, slow, lifeless are just a few words I'd use to describe this God awful place, it's actually pretty funny my mailman for my route is equally bad just today I'm having an issue with picking up my package the mail man left a notice on my Door stating I could pick my package up from my local post office yay for me
Just found out that it was UPS who screwed up the delivery and failed to deliver my package to this physical post office. For one week, I have been working with this post office to find my package, believing that it had dropped the ball. That was not the case. UPS now confirms that it dropped the ball and delivered to a completely different address.
Wow. So far, FedEx is winning 30+ years later.
They lost my package and one of the men that worked there openly admitted that they may have mistakenly put it to another P.O box... I call and call they give me the run around and say that someone will get back to me and no one ever does! They suck!
Everyone seems nice but am not getting any mail. And don't even bother calling their number. Getting mixed messages. Newly built house, carrier says the mail is at post office. Post office says it is being delivered. Once I got the key to my box, found my mail there but now it has stopped. Picking it up at the post office where they tell me they cannot deliver to my box. That morning I saw a postman delivering to my neighbors in the same cluster box. U.S. postal system established - Jul 26, 1775. They still don't have it right. I ended up emailing the local NBC Bay Area tv station that does investigative reporting. Click on the Investigations link at the top menu, then the Consumer Reports tab at the top and you will see a link on the top right for submitting your problem. Within a couple weeks I get a call from the Antioch Postmaster who was all over himself to help me get my address in the USPS computer system. As of yesterday 01/12/17 I am still getting websites saying they don't recognize my address but they still take it and so far no shipments seem to be getting delivered to wrong address or returned as refused delivery as was happening previously. Also I know this won't reach many people but the Visa application service is non existent here. You cannot make an appointment on-line anywhere I can find so we went there. People were lined up waiting since 9 am for openings beginning at 10-12. When you read their signs there are 2 phone numbers provided. I have called these numbers numerous times and no one has ever answered and they do not go to voice-mail which is OK because they wouldn't check it if they had it. Definitely a government operation.
Went in with birthday gifts that would be late. The clerk set it up for next day delivery. Great service.
Unreal. I have never had a failed delivery with Federal Express in all my years on this earth. Yet, somehow, I have now had two (2) failures with UPS.
