This place is terrible. The staff is friendly and polite, but absolute rip offs. My border collie had developed a cyst/boil and I was weary of leaving it unchecked since it was rather large. I brought him in to be examined, and after checking it the doctor said he would like to take a sample to inspect under the microscope. After returning he informed us it was a growth and would not go away on its own. He suggested surgically removing it so it could be sent off and tested to make sure it wasn't cancerous. Of course we love our dog so we agreed to have an appointment to have it removed for the cost of 900 dollars. The visit and evaluation of the "growth" cost me 150 dollars. Well 3 days later the thing popped! So there are two possible scenarios here. 1) The doctor gave my dog the wrong prognosis. 2) He lied to my face to make money. Either scenario leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I for one don't plan on bringing my dog here ever again. Bad bad business. Not only were they going to have me spend an excessive amount of money on something my dog did not need. But they were going to subject him to an uncomfortable surgery just to make money.
My fiancé and I live in Brentwood and we were researching different veterinarian services in our area. After some online research we decided to check out East Hills due to their fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed and East Hill truly lives up to their 5 star reputation. They are the most reasonably & fair priced veterinarian establishment in the Brentwood/Antioch area that we've personally researched. The Vets and staff are so happy, courteous, and helpful! We love their services, especially their puppy program which makes the medical aspect of raising a puppy easy, affordable, and manageable. Our dog Samson has been taken care of by East Hills since he was 8 weeks old and he's now a big, happy, and healthy 20 month year old boy all thanks to East Hills incredible staff and services. We just welcomed a new kitten named Asha to our family and he's now one of East Hills newest patients. Thank you East Hills for all of your awesome services and support in raising our fur babies!
Also I do find their prices to be pretty costly...
I've been going to Dr. Brown for forever. His son recently graduated and joined the staff 2 years ago. Now I have the best of both worlds. Experience, knowledge, and new ideas. My dog was recently diagnosed with Mast Cell tumor cancer and Dr Brown did the surgery for 1/3 of the cost I was quoted else where. I'm happy with the outcome and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VETERINARY HOSPITAL!
$ 24.00 for a nail trim is pricie especially when I am disabled and on a fixed income once a month. I sure hope their price doesn't increase cuz then I will be left in a pickle. But like I said they are all very nice and answer any questions I may have thoroughly.
We have been coming here since this place had been open, over 30 years. I've never had better caring vets and staff members at any other place than East Hills. They even sent a sympathy card home to me when my hamster died back when I was 12 years old. I will never go anywhere else. My pets are always is great hands with them!
